The Hub Farnborough is an award-winning 1930s building — originally an airport departure lounge and control tower, completely restored and refurbished to provide contemporary office accommodation. Intact Electrical were chosen as the preferred and trusted electrical installation experts for the internal and external commercial office lighting refurbishments.

Heritage-Sensitive Installation
Working within a Grade II listed 1930s former airport building demands precision and restraint. Every lighting position, conduit route, and fixing point is agreed with the client and building manager before work commences — no surprises, no remedial reinstatement.

CIBSE LG7 Compliant Output
Commercial office illuminance levels and glare-control ratios are met throughout. Luminaire selection, mounting heights, and aiming angles are calculated to LG7 specification — delivering a workspace that performs for occupants from day one.

Phased Around Live Tenants
The Hub is fully occupied during the refurbishment programme. Work is sequenced floor-by-floor and room-by-room around tenant schedules, with temporary lighting maintained throughout. Each area is signed off and handed back before the next phase begins.
